A visit transport coming back from a gambling club collided with the back of a semi-tractor trailer on Sunday close Palm Springs, California, killing 13 individuals and harming 31 others, as indicated by state police.
The transport driver was among those murdered and the truck driver was harmed, California Highway Patrol division Chief Jim Abele said at a public interview. Wounds extend from minor to direct, Abele said.
The 1996 MCI transport, worked by USA Holiday, was coming back to Los Angeles from the Red Earth Casino close Salton Sea, as indicated by Abele.
The mischance happened at 5:17 a.m. neighborhood time on westward Interstate 10, authorities said. The cause was not instantly known.
The CHP and the National Transportation Safety Board are exploring.
It's obscure whether medications, liquor or exhaustion were considers the mischance.
