THE candidates for the 2016 Fashion Awards were uncovered by the BFC today at concurrent occasions in London and LA. At the end of the day, Jonathan Anderson rules procedures with four designations - split between his eponymous JW Anderson mark and Loewe where he is imaginative executive - while Gucci takes three, two of which are for Alessandro Michele.
The champs of the Outstanding Achievement Award and Fashion Icon Award will be picked by the British Fashion Council and declared on the night, while the beneficiaries of the Isabella Blow Award for Fashion Creator, Special Recognition Award, and Swarovski Award for Positive Change will be reported in front of the function, which is set to occur at The Royal Albert Hall on December 5.
